  1. TAKE COLLEGE PLACEMENT TEST

Placement testing is mandatory for all students taking curriculum level courses with a developmental prerequisite. It is important that you prepare for the placement test since your scores will determine your placement into either college-level or preparatory course work.  A placement test study guide is available at the College's Admissions Office or online at http://www.beaufortccc.edu/stdserve/Testing/testing.htm.  After taking the placement test, you will receive your test scores and be assigned an academic advisor.

Placement testing may be waived under the following conditions:

Placement test, SAT, and ACT scores are valid for five (5) years from the date of the test. Students may retest twice within a calendar year on all or part of the placement tests.  To make an appointment for placement testing, please call 252-940-6237.

If these conditions were met when you submitted your application, you will then be presented with the option of sending your high school transcript electronically to that school.
